Sivakarthikeyan’s big Diwali release this year is his much-awaited army drama Amaran, and the trailer of the film has just dropped last evening, to a terrific response. The film’s trailer wonderfully showcases what we can expect from it, with superb visuals, making and a grand scale that gives us hopes on what could be another terrific film to add to the list of solid outings for Tamil cinema this year.

The trailer showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a never-seen-before avatar playing a loud and rampaging army officer, as it is based on the real life story of Major Mukund Varadharajan. The film features Sai Pallavi as his wife, and there are loads of sequences that prove that there could be lots of emotional scenarios in the film that could tear us up. Rajkumar Periyasamy’s making levels and GV Prakash’s score are superb in the trailer as well.

Amaran hits the screens on the 31st of October worldwide in 5 languages, get set!
