At the grand audio and trailer launch of Retro which took place yesterday, Suriya highlighted that the film Retro will give an idea on the core purpose of life. He said that it was a script that he liked on the first hearing, and that Karthik Subbaraj has added many interesting elements into it. The event also had Karthik Subbaraj stating that “Retro is a film that is made for Suriya sir and Pooja Hegde. After watching the final output of the film, that’s what we felt. We are very happy with the way the film has come out, and I’m sure the audience will like it as well” said the director.
The trailer which was launched yesterday had a very unique cut to it, and had a grand appeal which was led on by Suriya and the rest of the cast. The trailer showcases the film’s core, action sequences and the war between the gangsters. But interestingly, the love portions of the film have been hid away from it.
The songs of Retro have been received very well amidst the audiences, and few more tracks which were released yesterday are also getting good attention. Gear up for the film in theatres on May 1st.
