In a recent interview, Retro director Karthik Subbaraj has said that the film is not a gangster film, and it has a lot of love in it, with deep emotions being the core. “There’s a cute love story in the film and it has lot of emotions running in it. I focused on comedy also this time, there are lots of characters around Suriya in the film,” said the director.
Retro is said to pick up its buzz big time, with the audio launch set to take place on the 18th of this month. Two songs from the film are already chartbusters, and the third one is coming out this evening.
