Superstar Rajinikanth’s massive biggie Coolie was the one which had to lock its date in advance, so that other biggies could fall in line. And rightly so, the makers have announced now that Coolie is all set to hit the screens on the 14th of August. The team has already wrapped up the shoot which means that there is ample time for post production and things will be moving ahead smoothly for the entire unit.
Coolie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj as a standalone film which comes through after his LCU films such as Vikram and Leo. The Rajinikanth starrer is not limited to the star alone and features a big star cast that has Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan and others.
Coolie will now take on Bollywood’s biggie War 2 for the Independence day weekend, which has Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles.
