Though producer Aakash Baskaran had confirmed in his interviews that his production’s first film Idli Kadai is not coming for April 10th, there was no official confirmation from the team. And now, the makers have now put out the word saying that the film is indeed coming on October 1st, for the long pooja holidays weekend. The film is Dhanush’s fourth directorial, and has a cast that has Nitya Menen, Rajkiran and Arun Vijay who plays a pivotal role.
GV Prakash continues as the composer for the film after his superb association with Dhanush for NEEK. The final schedule of Idli Kadai will be shot in Bangkok next month. As of now, Dhanush is confirmed to have 3 films releasing this year – Kubera, Tere Ishk Mein and Idli Kadai, 3 films across 3 industries.
